Our website links to services and websites operated by third parties. Their content and data processing are governed by the respective providers. We review links when adding them, but we cannot continuously control external content.
Privacy policy
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy covers personal data processed in connection with this website, including technical website delivery, contact forms and direct correspondence.
2. Hosting and technical data
This website is hosted by Webflow, Inc., 398 11th Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103, United States.
When the website is accessed, Webflow may process technical information needed to deliver, secure and operate the site. This can include IP address, browser and device information, operating system, referring URL, pages accessed, date and time of access and server log information.
PsyCH-Students does not use this technical information for advertising or independent visitor profiling.
3. Analytics, cookies and similar technologies
This website does not currently use Google Analytics or another independent advertising or behavioral analytics service. We do not intentionally use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies.
Technically necessary cookies, local storage entries or similar technologies may still be used where they are required for website security and functionality.
4. Contact forms and email
When you contact PsyCH-Students through a website form or by email, we process the information you provide in order to handle your inquiry. Depending on the form, this may include your name, email address, optional phone number, selected inquiry topic, source page, message and internal routing metadata.
Website forms are provided through Webflow. Submitted form data may therefore be processed by Webflow as part of the form service and according to the site's configuration. Within PsyCH-Students, access should be limited to the people who need the information to answer or process the inquiry.
The selected inquiry topic is used to identify the responsible department. The form also records routing metadata such as the intended department and role mailbox so the inquiry can be handled by the appropriate team.
5. Purpose and legal basis
Personal data is processed only for purposes connected with operating the website, maintaining its security, responding to inquiries and carrying out the association's activities.
Where Swiss data protection law applies, processing follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and its principles, including proportionality, purpose limitation, transparency and data security.
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, website delivery and security may rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Inquiries connected with a requested service, event, membership matter or cooperation may also be processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where applicable.
6. Recipients and international processing
Technical website and form data may be processed by Webflow and service providers used by Webflow to provide its infrastructure and services. Processing may take place in the United States or other countries outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area.
Where required, international transfers rely on the safeguards available under applicable data protection law.
7. Retention
Personal data is kept only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected or for applicable legal and organizational requirements.
Technical hosting data is retained according to the operational and security practices of the hosting provider. Inquiry and correspondence data is retained for as long as needed to handle the matter and maintain necessary organizational records.
8. Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access personal data concerning you, request correction or deletion, object to certain processing, request restriction of processing or exercise other rights provided by law.
To make a privacy request, contact info@psych-students.ch. We may ask for reasonable proof of identity where necessary to protect personal data from unauthorized disclosure.
9. Data security
We use reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration or destruction. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

This notice may be updated when the website, our processes or applicable legal requirements change. The current version is provided on this page.
