Signature Events

psyEdu

psyEdu is the umbrella format for all educational events organized by psyCH-Students. Under this label, we bring together diverse learning formats that complement university studies and create spaces where theory and practice meet, ideas are exchanged openly, and learning happens collaboratively across different areas of psychology.

With our psyEdu initiative, we aim to fill gaps in the curriculum, provide more engaged forms of learning, and offer a platform for professionals and students to network. In particular, professionals working in niche topics and applied fields of psychology get the opportunity to share their work with psychology students across the country.

psyEdu brings learning to life through a mix of training schools, panel discussions, debates, interviews, and hands-on workshops. One week you might join an intensive course on group dynamics, the next you could sit in an evening debate on emerging therapies or help run a student-led seminar.

psyCon

psyCon is the national psychology congress organized by psyCH-Students. It brings together psychology students, researchers, and professionals from across Switzerland to exchange ideas, discuss current research, and engage with practical perspectives from different fields of psychology.

The goal of psyCon is to create a space where academic research, applied work, and student projects come together. By connecting students with academics, employers, NGOs, and graduate schools, the congress supports professional orientation, peer exchange, and insight into current and emerging career paths within psychology.

psyCon offers a compact program of research talks, practical workshops, interactive sessions, and poster presentations. A career area connects students with organizations and institutions, while informal social events encourage exchange across language regions. Planned and run by students, the congress evolves each year to reflect current questions and developments in psychology.
